Vabene
The Vabene Manifesto

Unreasonable hospitality, at scale.

Why we built Vabene. What we believe. Who it is for.

The best restaurants in the world practice a kind of hospitality that makes no economic sense — until you see the room full, every night, for thirty years.

They remember. They anticipate. They treat the second visit like a homecoming. This is what the industry calls unreasonable hospitality — and until now, it has only ever scaled as far as one exceptional maître d’ could carry it. Vabene exists to carry it further: across every call, every message, every venue, every brand — without losing the humanity that makes it worth scaling.

What we believe

01

Hospitality is memory.

A great restaurant is not a room that serves food. It is a place that remembers you — your table, your allergy, your anniversary, the wine you loved last spring. Every tool we build exists to give that memory back to the people who run the room.

02

Software should decide, not just store.

The last generation of restaurant software was built as a filing cabinet: it logs guests, tracks reservations, files reports. The intelligence stayed in the manager on shift — and walked out the door when they resigned. AI-native means the system itself carries the intelligence, and never resigns.

03

The phone is a promise.

Every unanswered call during service is a guest turned away without a word. A restaurant that answers every call, in every language, at every hour, has not automated its hospitality — it has extended it.

04

A group is one house.

When a guest dines at your Paris brand on Tuesday and your London brand on Friday, she is the same guest. Loyalty should compound across every room you run — not fragment into ten disconnected databases.

05

Your data is yours.

No multi-year lock-ins. No sixty-day cancellation traps. No legal maze around your own guest list. If we are not the best tool for your rooms, you leave with everything — and we help you pack.

06

The next generation will be built in Europe.

The software running the world's best rooms was built in America, for the internet of 2011. The world's best rooms are here — in Paris, London, Milan, Dubai. The tools they deserve should be built where they live, under the laws that protect their guests.

If you run rooms like this — or want to — we are building Vabene with twenty-five of you.
